Tolerating what is essential illegal activity on campus....but then, until now so have Australian police forces in many states. Two tier policing is not unique to the UK, it seems. Thank you Peter. It is good to see contextualised knowledge and moral consistency articulated on this issue. What is not stated nearly often enough when people decry Israeli attacks to root out Hamas terrorists, is that Gazan civilians are left to withstand bombings on the surface and are denied access to the safety of hundreds of kilometres of Hamas' underground tunnels. I'm very glad you have made this point and that you draw attention to Hamas' policy of human sacrifice, conveniently ignored by apologists for this cruel and repressive regime.
